| Two MDA campaigns using DEC have previously been conducted in Tuvalu. The first was from 1972-1973. A pre-treatment survey on Funafuti recorded mf rates of 14.7% which dropped to 0.96% in the post treatment survey. The second MDA was carried out from 1992-1993. |
